a self-initiated music single release idea for Slur : 2011

Tired of music channels and radios, why not try letting people be the ones to release a new single instead? That great feeling of creating something, then display it in public is everyone's dream. Who would not want to do this, especially the fans? Slur, a popular Thai indie-rock band, is chosen in this project for their daring fanbase and a possibility in releasing a new single soon.

That is when Mission Imposslur was brought up. The basic structure requires fans to complete fifty missions before unlocking every part of the single (instrument tracks, vocals, effects, audio mastering) and its music video. Missions are mini-games related to the band. For example, getting an A+ rank from the band's dance game grants you the Drum Line Part 3/5. One fan per one mission to finish in three days; if unsucceed, a position will be opened for new fans to sign up. There are prizes for the fifty fans involved. The project should be quite a talk of the town starting between fans discussing how to win a mission or recruiting more people. Successful fans can share their accomplishment through social media.

The concept includes a little drama for attention, based on the comeback of Slur. They will let their fans decide whether they are still accepted or not. If enough people participated in this collaboration to finally release the single, it is guaranteed that they are.
